Prague was wonderful. Every building is adorned with fantastic sculptures, cornices, and ornate decorations. Lots of statues everywhere. We bought a 24 hour pass for 110KC (which is about $4 each) on the metro which gave us access to the bus system, the trams, and the funicular besides the metro. We never did ride the metro since it was underground. We had fun riding the tram which seemed faster than any car or taxi. The signs are easy to read so getting around was a fun experience. Joyce and I (Marna fighting a cold) rode the tram to the funicular and then rode that to the top. Great view!
