Wien Church Stained Glass

We have been in at least 50 churches since we started this trip. There have been many spectacular ones. This church in Vienna, known as Wien here, had the most vibrant stained glass of any we have seen. The architecture was incredible too but what stood out the most, at least to us, was the bright colors of this stained glass windows. The picture with Marna and me above shows what they look like from the outside. It was not until we were inside did we notice the incredible work. Below are some images. Check out the close up of the dragon slaying by St. George.

I also liked the wooden ladder they must use to clean the windows. The other shot is the outside showing the windows and some very cool statues.
